The People tab is where users are managed. You can add new and manage existing users with controlled permission sets and real time changes to their access including suspending a user. NOTE: Please do not delete any users! Once deleted, historical activity such as access events or actions taken in myQ will still exist but will not be tied to any user.
On the People tab, you will see a list of your users and their current status. Use the Filter button to view users by Status, Groups, or Role.

Roles determine the level of access a user has with myQ and whether they have accepted their invitation to create a login. Note: users must click the “HERE” hyperlink in the email before creating a login.

When a person should no longer have any access to the facility, switch the status to suspended. This has a real time impact, and the user will immediately lose access to the portal or using a credential for accessing a facility. Do not delete a user! This prevents tracking historical data for that user! Instead suspend the user.

Credentials are managed on the credential tab and can be assigned there or on the user profile page. Users may have up to 10 credentials and a unique entry code. These could be badge cards or fobs, windshield tags and more.
Groups are managed on the groups tab and can be assigned there or on the user profile. Groups control the schedule and entry points that the user can access. Users in multiple groups have the full access granted across groups
Users with myQ web portal access also require a role and an email address.
When these two fields are completed, the option to send a web portal access invite will appear. The toggle must be switched on for the user to be invited to the portal.
A Role is required if a user should be granted access to the myQ web portal. The role controls the level of access and permissions in the myQ web portal. Your CSM can help you control permissions of various roles on the Roles tab.
You already have 4 roles with varying permission sets. Manager roles are typically used for the lowest level of privilege such as a view only permission. Email is required for a user to be invited to the web portal. One last trick on this: once a role and an email have been provided, a toggle will appear below the email address
If the user will need to receive text notifications, be sure to enter their Phone Number. All other fields are optional – If your facility utilizes Credentials or is a part of a 3rd Party Vendor, Access Groups may be applicable. Notifications are managed on the Notifications tab.
NOTE: Contact CSM for Credential or Access help if unfamiliar

Custom Roles – In addition to the standard roles in myQ Enterprise, facilities are also able to create custom roles specific to their site. These can be especially useful for more redundant Identity & Access Management
Please contact your CSM if you’re interested in enabling at your location!
Be sure to check the Spam folder for a “Welcome to myQ” email. Or you can resend by searching the user in People and clicking the dropdown under Web Portal Invite
