Access Schedules are used to determine the days and hours that entry can be gained through the gate. A schedule can be applied to specific sets of users by using Groups or be used to hold a gate open during those set hours.
Creating and Editing Access Schedules
Navigate to Schedules and choose the Access Schedules tab across the top. Add a new schedule using the Add Schedule button or click on the underlined name of an existing access schedule to open the Edit Schedule page.

Give the schedule a name that makes it clear how it will be applied. An optional description field is recommended so future users editing the schedule have an understanding of what impacts may be the outcome of their changes.
Important Note: It is very rare to need an Enabling Group selected. This is NOT the Group that this schedule will be applied to, but a Group that must already have arrived before this Access Schedule will go into effect. For example, if there is no security present at the facility, it may not be appropriate for 3rd Party Vendors to be either. A Security user Group could be used as the Enabling Group that would require credentials of a user in the Security group to have been used already that day.

Multiple time slots can be used on the same day. This allows flexibility for shift work or regular site wide closures midday. The visual on the right will update with choices made as they change.

This facility only has one shift on Thursday. For a different facility, this visual representation on the right could be an indicator that the hours on Thursday were not properly set. Exceptions to an Access Schedule for an event or holiday can be set to supersede the weekly schedule on a monthly or one-time basis. These exceptions are used to deny or allow access during the exception period. For a full day exception, enter the Start Time at 12 am and the End Time at 11:59 pm.

When the Access Schedule visual is correct and exceptions have been verified, save the Access schedule
Applying Access Schedules
The Access Schedule can now be applied to the gate or relevant Group to control access to those users. If an existing Access Schedule was already applied, changes are applied automatically.
Gate Unlock Schedule
Configuration changes to gate schedules should happen rarely and only by a facility IT Administrator. Most users will not be able to make edits gate configurations. For more information, see support for Access Point Settings in the Devices section.
Allow Restricted Access to Groups
Groups access points and schedules where a user's credentials will work to gain access to the facility. Access Schedules can be applied to individual zones when creating or editing existing Groups in the Groups section.
