How-To Add a Carrier in the Scheduling Portal

When you add a new carrier to your profile in the Scheduling Portal, the system does not automatically populate your new carrier on the Appointment Request screen. Here are the steps to follow to add a carrier to the system, and then to select that carrier for your requested appointment:

 

  1. Click on the “Other Carrier” button


  1. Create your new carrier in the pop-up box. If you know your carrier’s SCAC code, the system will look up that code when you click into another field and automatically populate the carrier's name.


  1. When you create your carrier and are returned to the scheduling screen, be sure to select your newly added carrier from the carrier dropdown. You can start typing the name of the carrier to search. It is not selected automatically:


You should now be able to schedule your appointment.
