Below are explanations of different metrics in the Carrier Efficiency section:

Carrier Non-Compliance

  • Non-Compliance would be a count of truck sessions where detention fees were acquired.

Total Carrier Detention Fees

  • The detention threshold and the amount of fees are defined for each Carrier, if the duration of the truck session is over threshold, then the difference between session duration and detention threshold is multiplied by the amount of fees. The total number of fees accumulated are displayed here.

Highest Detention Fees Carrier

  • Find the Carrier that have the maximum sum of Fees that was charged during the selected period.

AVG Carrier Visit Time

  • Sum all of the trailer session duration belonging to a carrier / # of trailer sessions for that carrier

  • Sum of all the carrier duration/hours for the facility / total # of sessions for that facility

  • Dock Session average is similar to Carrier session average assuming that we are calculating all of the dock sessions for all of the carriers belonging to this dock session

AVG Carrier Efficiency

  • Carrier efficiency is (total # of sessions of a carrier that were efficient – not in detention) / (total # of sessions of a carrier that were both in detention and not in detention)

Dock Management: AVG Truck Visit Breakdown (Truck Assignment Time + Loading Time + Departure Time)

NOTE: The difference between the Avg. Truck Visit Breakdown and the Avg. Carrier Visit Breakdown is the truck visit breakdown includes all the trailer sessions - including ones that do not have a trailer assignment (carriers not associated to these)

  • Pre-Dwell Facility = Assignment Timestamp to Leveler Deployed Timestamp

    • Subtle change

  • Loading Time = Leveler Deployed to Leveler Stored

  • Post Dwell Facility = Leveler Stored to Truck Departure Timestamp

    • Subtle change

Enterprise: AVG Truck Visit Breakdown (Truck Assignment Time + Transit to Dock + Facility Dwell + Loading Time + Facility Dwell + Driver Dwell + Departure Time)

  • Pre-Dwell Driver = Assignment Timestamp to Trailer Present Timestamp

  • Pre-Dwell Facility = Trailer Present Timestamp to Leveler Deployed Timestamp

  • Loading Time = Leveler Deployed to Leveler Stored

  • Post Dwell Facility = Leveler Stored to Truck Restraint Disengaged

  • Post Dwell Driver = Truck Restraint Disengaged to Truck Departure Timestamp

Carrier Detention Fees

  • The detention threshold and the amount of fees are defined for each Carrier, if the duration of the truck session is over threshold, then the difference between session duration and detention threshold is multiplied by the amount of fees. Then we sum all fees for sessions over the lifetime threshold for each Carrier.

AVG Carrier Detention Fees

  • For each Carrier the lifetime threshold and the amount of fees are defined, if the duration of the truck session is over threshold, then the difference between session duration and lifetime threshold is multiplied by the amount of fees. Then we sum all fees for sessions over the lifetime threshold and divide by the number of Carriers.
