Enhancements
Appointment Confirmation Number
What’s new? myQE has introduced a new field for Appointment Confirmation #. This is different than the Shipment ID, and can be used as another option for drivers to check-in with. This also includes enhancements to the check-in flow (via custom questions) that will help guide drivers through the check-in flow.
Why does it matter? myQE has always allowed drivers to check-in using any one of the Shipment IDs on the appointment. Recently, we have seen instances of scheduling departments sending their drivers an email that includes both an appointment confirmation #, as well as the shipment IDs. This can easily confuse drivers that try to check-in using the confirmation #, thus we have expanded the scope to account for this. The confirmation # currently only exists in the back-end, but will continue to weave into the platform’s front-end with future enhancements.
2 ‘Merge Appointment’ Enhancement
What’s new? Users are now able to merge two appointments together, even if one (or both) have already checked-in. This was not possibly previously.
Why does it matter? This enhancement supports the use case of ad-hoc merges (e.g. user is not sure what OB shipment a driver will depart with until they arrive with an inbound shipment).
Yard Management Enhancements
What’s new?
Ability to delete tasks – Tasks can now be deleted from the Tasks tab. This can be used to cleanup tasks that don’t get “completed” in the system for any number of reasons.
Better visibility into Task/Appointment associations – Shipment ID is now included as a column on the Tasks tab, with further appointment details available in the side panel for a given task.
Ability to edit Trailer linked to an OB appointment – Previously, after a task was completed, there was no way to edit the trailer that was associated with the appointment (via the completed task). This caused issues at Cheney PSL, as trailers need to be replaced often. This association can now be edited from the Edit Appointment modal.
Visibility into appointment details from Yard App – Previously, yard drivers had no visibility to the appointment (or any appointment attributes) from the Yard App. This created duplicate work for Cheney PSL, as the task creator would have to include valuable attributes in the Task comment. Now, Yard Drivers can see appointment details from the Yard App.
Why does it matter? These are “fine-tuning” enhancements that will make a big impact at our flagship Yard Management site, as well as for future sites.
+/- 24 Hours View
What’s new? Users now have the ability to view the Daily Schedule from the current time +/- 24 hours. For example, if the view was selected at 4p on a Tuesday, user would be able to see all appointments from Monday at 4p to Wednesday at 4p. This feature is also included on Daily Schedule Report notifications.
Why does it matter? Previously, users could only view the Daily Schedule one day at a time. For overnight shifts, this becomes a problem, since the shift crosses over midnight. This gives those users the ability to see all shipments they can expect to see during their shift.

Updated UI for Schedule / Edit Appointment
What’s new? Updated UI accounts for multiple shipment IDs with their own vendor, pallet, and case counts.
Why does it matter? Previously, an appointment with multiple shipment IDs could only have 1 vendor, and 1 pallet/case count. This does not adequately reflect customer use cases, hence the change.

Custom Question Data Visibility
What’s new? Users will now be able to see the answers to custom question(s) associated with an appointment. The data will now be visible on Dock Positions Dashboard, Dock Plan, and Daily Schedule.
Why does it matter? Previously, this data was not visible on the Daily Schedule, which makes it difficult for custom questions to serve their purpose. For example, it doesn’t serve much of a purpose to ask drivers “Do you need a lumper service?” if the answer is not readily accessible.

Notable Bug Fixes
Daily Schedule Add/Remove Columns Not Staying – We have fixed an issue in which Daily Schedule columns “reset” whenever the Add/Remove modal is closed – making it challenging to make further changes.
