Enhancements
Split Appointments (Schedule > Select Appointment > Actions > Merge)
What’s new? Users now have the ability to split appointments from the Schedule tab. This is the inverse of the previously released “Merge” feature.
Why does it matter? There are a few different use cases for splitting appointments. For example, if there are 5 UUIDs on 1 appointment, and the driver only shows up with 2 of the 5, then the remaining 3 are still expected, and will need to be split into another appointment.
Daily Schedule - Additional Sorting Capabilities (Shipment ID, Driver Name)
What’s new? Users now have the ability to sort the Daily Schedule on Shipment ID and Driver Name.
Why does it matter? From a UX perspective, the more sortable fields the better, and these fields are especially important to deliver on OB use cases.
New Action: Cancel Appointment Action on the Edit Appointment Modal
What’s new? The ability to cancel an appointment directly from the Edit Appointment modal.
Why does it matter? Previously, users could only cancel an appointment by navigating to the monthly schedule view, clicking on the day of the appointment, and cancelling the appointment. This workflow is unnecessarily cumbersome, and has now been made easier.
New Action: Edit Appointment Data After Check-In (Daily Schedule)
What’s new? The ability to edit certain appointment details AFTER the appointment has already been checked in.
Why does it matter? In some cases (particularly Outbound scenarios), it is necessary to edit certain details of the appointment after the driver has already completed the check-in flow. For example, if the driver arrives before the OB trailer is ready for pickup, he/she should still be able to check-in to the appointment and receive updates via SMS as they become available. In this case, it is quite possible that certain attributes of the appointment (e.g. trailer) will change after the check-in.
