Enhancements
Merge Appointments (Schedule > Select Appointment > Actions > Merge)
What’s new? Users now have the ability to merge appointments together from the Schedule tab.
Why does it matter? There are a few different use cases for merging appointments. Notably, if an outbound driver is taking two 28’ (“pup”) trailers instead of one, those two trailers are represented on two different appointments but need to be merged to one appointment for the single driver. This also has use cases for Inbound appointments – if multiple inbound shipments are split across multiple appointments and need to be merged into one appointment due to a change of plans.

Daily Schedule – Navigate to Historical Dock Activity of In Yard / Checked-Out Trailer
What’s new? Users now have the ability to easily access the historical dock activity of an in yard or checked-out trailer, directly from the Daily Schedule.
Why does it matter? It is common (for visibility and/or troubleshooting purposes) that a user would want to see the dock activity of a trailer that has recently completed a dock session. Previously, this would require seeing the trailer in the Daily Schedule, and then clicking into the Activity tab and re-typing the trailer number to see. Now, it can be accessed directly from Appointment Details.

“Load” Trailer Action for Outbound Appointments (Daily Schedule > Actions > Load Trailer)
What’s new? This new functionality supports the use case of an outbound appointment that does not yet have a trailer associated with it. This is used to quickly and easily associate the trailer that is being loaded with an OB shipment to the OB appointment.
Why does it matter? Previously, users would need to 1) manually assign the trailer to a dock in the Dock Positions dashboard, and then 2) go to Schedule > Edit Appointment to link the trailer to the appointment. This amount of work was not reasonable to expect of end users with this use case.
