How-To Edit the Facility Layout

Before you begin, have a picture of your facility layout, such as a floor plan, saved as a picture format (example: jpeg, .png, etc.). LiftMaster gate operators, commercial door and dock operators must be connected to myQ Enterprise first.

1. On the Dashboard, click on Facility Layout tab

   

2. Click on Edit Mode

   

3. Click Update Floorplan

4. Click on Choose File to locate the floorplan on your computer, once located click on the file to highlight it, click Open

   

   
   

5. Click Create Zoom Sector

6. A Zoom Sector is part of the floorplan that you will be able to click on to instantly zoom in to see devices

7. Click and drag the area you will want to be able to zoom in. You can select multiple areas using the + icon. Remove areas by clicking the – icon.

8. Click on Edit Doors/Devices

   

9. Click on the floor plan where doors, docks or gates are located

10. Then click on each triangle icon to Assign Device

11. In the popup box, use the drop down to select the device from the list.

    

12. Click Confirm

13. If you make a mistake, click on the location and then click delete

14. Click Save when done making changes.

After setting up the facility layout, you will have a more visibility and control at a glance.
