Early/Late Arrival for Awaiting Dock – Routing Rules
Early/Late Arrival settings can now be applied to shipments Awaiting Dock when determining rule eligibility for Auto Assignment of shipments in Awaiting Dock status
These settings can be configured in Facility > Routing Rules in the Manage Early/Late Arrivals section
Feature Benefits:
Rule level flexibility to Apply Early/Late Arrival Rules to shipments in the Awaiting Dock status and stick to the schedule
Incentivize On Time arrival by keeping docks available for anticipated shipments
Choose to reduce average time on-site by disabling Early/Late Rules for Awaiting Dock
Enhanced Early/Late Arrival settings
Vendor Based Appointment Management – Routing Rules
Vendor is now a configurable action criterion in routing rules for automated dock assignment
These settings can be configured in the Facility > Routing Rules > Actions menu
Feature Benefits:
Make dock assignments to the best location based on the Vendor, alone or in combination with existing criteria
Make priority assignments for Vendors that have time sensitive temperature requirements
Allow expanded Early./Late arrival windows and exceptions for immediate assignment of specific vendors that take longer to unload or have driver unloads
Configurable Criteria for Routing Rules
Vendor Based Appointment Management – Notifications
Vendor is now a configurable condition in Shipment Notifications
These settings can be configured in the Notifications > Shipment Notifications > Conditions menu
Feature Benefits:
Improve quality control with alerts when product arrives with high risk of damage from a specific Vendor
Faster processing of priority vendors with immediate awareness throughout the facility for arrival or assignment
Allow for targeted escalation notification recipients to avoid notification fatigue
Start planning for arrival of Vendor specific appointments as soon as they are scheduled
Configurable Criteria for Shipment Notifications
Load Trailers in Awaiting Dock Status – Daily Schedule
Trailers in the Awaiting Dock status now have “Load” action available
This action is completed with Daily Schedule Actions on the Awaiting Dock Shipment
Feature Benefits:
Improved flexibility for onsite trailers that remain in the yard
Improved integrity of reporting on appointments by removing need for workaround workflows
